TERMS AND CONDITIONS -> ORDER CANCELLATION -> WARRANTY TERMS -> RETURN

ORDER CANCELLATION (BY CUSTOMER)

1.     At the stage when the product is ready for delivery, if the customer wants to cancel the order or cannot complete the required delivery documents (end-user certificate, end-item destination, etc.), a 20% restocking fee is applied.

2.     If the product is not ready for delivery and the customer wants to cancel the order, a 15% restocking fee is applied.

3.     Manufacturer Restocking Fee: Loran is not a manufacturer, so the manufacturer's restocking fee applies only with the manufacturer's acceptance. The manufacturer's restocking fee is applied separately from Loran's restocking fee application.

4.     For projects with special production conditions, the manufacturer's restocking fee and refund conditions apply unconditionally.

5.     If the customer wants a refund, the process varies depending on the time to refund from Loran’s supplier. Loran does not make any money-back commitments for this period. Refunds are only valid if Loran’s supplier approves them. Refunds are issued only to the customer’s bank account; the amount is calculated after the restocking fee is deducted. Under no circumstances will a refund be made to an account other than the customer’s account or by hand or check.

PRODUCT RETURN REQUEST AND RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA)

1.     Warranty Validity: Loran Aerospace Incorporated (Loran, Loran Aerospace) is not a manufacturer; Loran Aerospace is a service supplier. Loran Aerospace's warranty terms apply only to products with OEM, manufacturer, or vendor warranties.

2.     Return Request: The product return request must be reported within 90 days of the Loran product delivery date. Product return requests made after this date are not under the Loran warranty.

3.     All rejected parts must be returned within 30 days of RMA approval.

4.     All parts must be returned with a Rejection Technical Report (RTR) issued by the end-user technical team, the return is not valid.

5.     All rejected parts must be returned with the original package and label, along with the original documents delivered by Loran.

6.     All returns must be shipped prepaid freight and in undamaged condition. The customer is responsible for all transportation, insurance, duties and other similar charges for all returned Product, and the customer must ensure that the product is appropriately packaged.

7.     All returns require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Contact Loran Aerospace via telephone at +1 (470) 728 – 9573 or email at support@loranaerospace.com to obtain an RMA number.

8.     Returns will be authorized under an RMA number, which must be clearly and legibly printed on the package; if not, the RMA will not be accepted by Loran Aerospace.

9.     The following parts will not be considered for return:

9.1. Non-forecasted parts,

9.2. Parts less than $50.00,

9.3. Parts installed on aircraft,

9.4. Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods,

9.5. Custom design parts,

9.6. Excess & Obsolete parts

PRODUCT CONDITIONS AND LORAN WARRANTY TERMS

1.     FACTORY NEW (FN): The product received from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or Main Manufacturer or Authorized Distributor in original package with CofC and FAA/EASA (if applicable).

2.     NEW / UNUSED (New): For products that do not have shelf-life restrictions, the product must be in its original package and unused condition, even if the production date is old. The supplier can be OEM, authorized distributor or any supplier, and the supplier CofC must be received with the package.

3.     NEW SURPLUS (NS): The product received from other than OEM or authorized distributor, the product should be in original package, and the vendor CofC must be received with the package.

4.     OVERHAULED (OH): The product has overhauled by an authorized repair shop, the repair shop must need to supply Tear-Down Report, Accident Commitment, Overhaul Reports with its CofC and FAA/EASA certificate.

5.     SERVICEABLE (SV) and AS-IS (AR): Loran does not supply products with SV or AR conditions. 

LORAN WARRANTY TERMS

FN Condition Products: All new units carry the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or main manufacturer warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of receipt by the customer. These warranties are subject to the terms and conditions of the OEM or main manufacturer.

The Products with OEM traceability without FN Condition: These warranties are subject to the terms and conditions of the OEM.

Pre-Owned Products (New, NS or OH): Warranty periods on pre-owned, overhauled (OH) units sold by Loran Aerospace vary depending on the item. Consult your salesperson regarding the length of warranty for a particular item at the time of purchase. In most cases, the warranty period will be indicated on the quotation prior to a sale.

OH Products with Repair Shop Traceability: Warranty period vary depends on the product; the warranty term is engaged by the repair shop. Consult your salesperson regarding the length of warranty for a particular item at the time of purchase.
